1. What slate. is

slate. (by SURVYR.) is a private studio for personal research and mock-ups. Everything it produces is a mock: a draft compilation of publicly available data for the user's own study. Outputs are not finished, approved or distributable materials.

2. Not investment, legal, tax or accounting advice

Nothing in slate. or in any output is investment, legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and nothing should be relied on as such. Consult qualified professionals before making any decision.

3. No adviser or client relationship

Using slate. does not create an investment-adviser, broker-dealer, fiduciary, attorney, accountant or any other professional or client relationship between you and SURVYR or anyone else.

4. Not an offer or solicitation

Nothing in slate. or its outputs is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, product or service, in any jurisdiction.

5. Not compliance or supervisory reviewed

Outputs have not been reviewed or approved by any compliance, supervisory or legal function, including under FINRA or SEC rules (for example FINRA Rule 2210 communications standards). They must not be used as, or turned into, communications with the public, clients or prospects.

6. Past performance

Past performance is not indicative of future results. Figures describe the past and may not recur.

7. Third-party data, as-is, no warranty

Figures come from cited third-party sources (such as SEC EDGAR, Yahoo Finance via yfinance, and FRED). Data may be delayed, revised, incomplete or inaccurate. slate. and its data are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. AI-generated content

Some text is produced by an AI model. It may contain errors or omissions. slate. checks numbers against its cited data and flags or removes what it cannot verify, but you must independently verify everything before relying on it.

9. Trademarks and logos

Company names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement, and no licence is granted to use them in any public-facing material. Logos you upload are for internal mock-ups only.

10. No client or personal information

You must not enter any client information or personal data into slate.: no names, account numbers, balances, holdings, Social Security numbers, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth or any other personal or financial data. Client profiles hold only an alias or code, a brand kit and a generic audience type. slate. scans inputs and blocks or strips what looks like personal data, but you remain responsible for what you enter.

11. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use slate. and its outputs, including compliance with your employer's policies and all applicable laws and regulations.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SURVYR and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of slate. or its outputs.

13. Export IDs and logging

Every export (PDF, PPTX, deck view or image) carries a unique hidden export ID, embedded in file metadata, as micro-text and as a faint pattern, that ties it to the account, item, version and time it was made. Sign-ins, acknowledgments and exports are logged. The export log (export ID, username, item title, version, format and time) is kept after an item or account is deleted so that a leaked file can still be traced.

14. Access

SURVYR may suspend or revoke access at any time, for any reason, and may change these Terms. When the Terms version changes you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing.

15. Acceptance

By checking the boxes on the entry gate you confirm you have read and accept these Terms and the disclosures above.
